About Kathleen
Leadership Experience. Coaching Perspective. A commitment to helping leaders find their True North.
My Journey
Throughout my life’s journey, I have been fortunate enough to have mentors, coaches, and leaders who believed in me—often before I fully believed in myself. They saw potential I had yet to recognize, encouraged me to take the next step, and helped shape the leader I would become
My professional path began as an early childhood educator. When my two daughters were born, I combined my passion for learning and development with raising my family by operating an in-home nursery school. As my family grew, so did my desire to continue learning and serving others. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, followed by a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling, beginning a career in behavioral healthcare that would span more than three decades.
Finding My True North
Along the way, trusted mentors and coaches encouraged me to embrace new opportunities, expand my perspective, and step into leadership roles with increasing responsibility. Their guidance helped me navigate pivotal career transitions—from manger to executive leader—and ultimately to discover my own True North.
I found that True North at Helio Health, where I had the privilege of serving as President and CEO. In that role, I led an organization of more than 1,200 colleagues providing services to over 22,000 individuals across five regions of New York State. It was both an honor and a profound learning experience—one that reinforced my belief in the power of purpose-driven leadership and the extraordinary things people can accomplish when they are connected to a shared mission.
From Leadership to Coaching
Today, my purpose is to give back what was so generously given to me. Coaching provides an opportunity to bring together my leadership experience, my belief in the potential of people, and my commitment to helping others discover what is possible.
As a Certified Life Coach and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation, I partner with leaders who are seeking greater clarity, confidence, growth, and fulfillment. My role is not to provide all the answers, but to create a thoughtful, confidential space where leaders can step back, gain perspective, challenge assumptions, and discover the path forward that is right for them.
Leadership is a journey. You don’t have to navigate it alone.
